Summary

Clarita Joy Cailan is an animator, storyboard artist, and illustrator. She was born in Pasay City on 1996 and currently living at Cavite. She graduated as Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animation at iACADEMY. She directed Babaylan, a short animated film from her college creative organization and also did animation on another shortfilm, Alamat ng Unggoy, produced by the same organization that received a Honorable Mention award from the Film Academy of the Philippines. Also, the thesis film she did with her groupmates became a finalist at Animahenasyon 2017. At present, she's working as a freelance animator at Toon City Animation. She's currently animating Autochenille Production's Petit Vampire. She also did animation for shows such as Disney's Ducktales and Big Hero 6, Xilam's Oggy and the Cockroaches, and Studio 88's Raven the Little Rascal. Previously, she worked as a storyboard artist for Baahubali, an Indian animated series and for Hanchies, a local animated series. Clarita aspires to create stories that will soften a hardened heart and start a better change to the world using animation.

She can work using Adobe Photoshop, Flash, After Effects, and Premier Pro; Toon Boom Harmony and Storyboard Pro; Autodesk Mudbox and Maya. She can also create traditionally and specializes in illustration, 2D animation and 3D Render.
